Opening times

The Club is open on Monday and Friday evenings between 7 pm and 10 pm during the winter and also on Monday and Friday evenings in the summer. The North range is used for .22 prone rifle and the other for training and .177 air pistol and air rifle shooting.

The Club’s exceptional facilities are the best in South Scotland, with provision for 16 firing points for .22 prone rifle at 25 yards. The South range can accommodate both air pistol and air rifle at 10 metres.

The club has a number of rifles, air pistols and air rifles for use by members who do not have their own equipment. We ask that they are cleaned after use.

Fixture meetings for the LSSA and the Lothian & Peebleshire Home Guard Rifle Association are held at the Club.  In addition the Lothian Small Bore Shooting Association (LSSA) use the ranges for various competition finals.

Thursday evenings are reserved for competition shoulder to shoulder (home) matches.

The lounge area is comfortably seated, with television and pool table. Coffee, tea, soft drinks and a range of confectionery are available in the Kitchen.

Regular maintenance includes the premises, ground, car park and surrounding trees.
