Season 2005-2006
The year 2005/6 has been another very busy and successful one for the majority of B & C shooters.
The highlight for the team shooters was the creditable performance in the various NSRA competitions entered, in particular the second place achieved in the UK Team of Four.
Closer to home, our shooters have had broad ranging success in Lothian and South of Scotland competitions. This year we have done well in both team and individual competitions. Particular mention must be made of the contribution made by some of our newer members.
It is intended that we should enter at least the same number of competitions, of various kinds, during the coming season. This year, for various reasons, it will be vital that cards are shot well in advance in order to avoid administrative problems.
The gradual reduction in the number of shooters interested in participating in shoulder to shoulder competitions must now bring us to the point where we must decide whether B & C wishes to continue entering teams into these leagues.
